Welcome to Cathedral Catholic Academy, a PreK 4 through 8th grade Catholic School located in Johnstown, PA.
All are welcome to share in the blessing of a school that will respond to challenging times with faith and vision. Students, teachers, administrators and school families are committed to providing a warm, caring, safe-environment with academic success geared toward 21st century learning, because our mission is essential to the future of our youth, our nation and our Church.
Cathedral Catholic Academy exists so that the good news of Jesus’ Life, Death, and Resurrection might be shared and integrated into the development of each child. We aim to commit ourselves to cooperation with the family, the primary educators of our children. We honor the diversity of our students and show respect for the life and dignity of the human person. We seek to educate the whole child not only on an academic level, but we also strive to aid in the social, emotional, physical, and religious development. Gospel values are at the heart of all of these goals. At our school, we recognize that we have the awesome responsibility of helping each child to grow in understanding, appreciation, and respect of self and others, and of all of God’s creation. We seek the help of the Holy Spirit, who is our source of truth and wisdom as we educate this unique person, created and loved by God.
